2017 Edible Book Festival Winners

KLIC's 4th Edible Book Festival was held during National Library Week and we had 13 amazing entries. We partnered with Writers@Work this year and were lucky enough to have Tayari Jones, author of Silver Sparrow, as one of our guest judges. She joined Dr. Dana Nichols (VP of Academic Affairs) and Sandra Williford (librarian) to decide winners in our Best Overall and Most Creative categories.

Best overall winner was Brittany Richardson with her entry, Silver Sparrows and Pink Foxes.

Most Creative went to Lana Balan for her amazing Up inspired gingerbread house.

Jacey and Heather won People's Choice by a landslide with their cake, Tortoise and the Hare.
