We LOVE Vicky Library Open House

The We LOVE Vicky Mobile Classroom Dedication was a big hit! Vicky Leather, library staff, and many guests attended the event to mark the dedication of the Mobile Classroom. Vicky Leather served as chief librarian and library dean for more than 30 years and had dreamed of a space for classroom instruction and events. Vicky laid the groundwork and after her retirement in 2012, Susan Jennings took over the plans for creating the space. During the library renovation of 2014, KLIC was proud to reopen with a space that would make Vicky proud. At the We LOVE Vicky event, Susan and staff were happy to show Vicky how her vision had been brought to fruition.
