The library is here for you evenings and Sundays! We are open Monday - Thursday, 8am - 8pm; Friday, 8am - 3pm, and Sunday, 1pm - 5pm. Check out all of our hours and closings on our website.
September Digital Book Club
Our new monthly book club for faculty, staff, and students opened September 1, and you may join us at any time!
Each month, we will have access to UNLIMITED digital copies of the selected title through the Libby app. The first three months feature writers with ties to Tennessee, starting with the great Ann Patchett.

The club is very informal and mostly asynchronous. You may choose from two options for virtual discussion: Fable and Padlet. Fable is a reading tracker app, and Padlet is browser-based and will allow you to post to a shared board. For those who want to meet in-person, we will have an informal gathering in the library on the last Friday of each month at noon. Bring your lunch!

Information Literacy Workshops
Please encourage your students to attend one of the upcoming Information Literacy workshops at the Library. Here's what's coming up in the next few weeks:
September 18, 4p: How to Read Scholarly Articles (OVID/CINAHL)
This workshop will help students unpack and decode scholarly articles, specifically those found in the OVID and CINAHL databases frequently used by NAH students and faculty.
September 21, 330p: The 5Ws – Chasing Stories, Asking Questions
This Creator Studio session focuses on the importance of asking good questions and conducting solid research within writing like journalism or fiction writing.
Therapy Dog Schedule

NEW - Constitution Day and Voter Registration Display
Thursday, September 17 is Constitution Day!
Stop by the library for a pocket constitution and additional resources; check out our online guide to take quizzes, become a signer of the Constitution, and learn more about your constitutional right to vote.
Voter Registration Deadline is October 5, 2026
Speaking of voting - Tennessee's deadline to register to vote is rapidly approaching on Monday, October 5. Pick up a mail-in voter registration form and a sticker at the library entrance!
Whiteboards Everywhere!
The library has 12 new mini whiteboards and fine-tip marker kits for your use! Use them anywhere in the library - ask for them at the desk!
