Upcoming Author Events at the Library
Following on the heels of the amazing Writers @ Work program with poet Christian Collier, the library is excited to host virtual conversations with two outstanding authors this month. See below for details!
Wednesday, April 15 at 2 pm:
Author Ben Goldfarb will join Sara Beth in conversation about his 2023 book Crossings: How Road Ecology is Shaping the Future of Our Planet. Sara Beth's review described it as "one of the defining books of the environmental canon, calling attention to a hugely important and all-too-easily ignored issue" — wildlife migration and the impact of infrastructure. We will also discuss the research he's currently doing for his forthcoming title all about fish!
Registration required.
Tuesday, April 21 at 3 pm:
The Faculty & Staff Book Club enjoyed TN author Eliana's Ramage's debut novel To the Moon and Back, and we are so excited for her to join us in a virtual conversation. This engaging story focuses on Steph, a young Cherokee woman with a mission: to become an astronaut. If you've been all about Artemis, you won't want to miss this incredible chance to hear from the author herself!
Registration required.
