Mango Language - Access over 70 languages in Mango!

Learn a language as well as practice conversation skills and gain cultural insight. The Mango Languages database has been expanded to 70 languages! Through Chattanooga State Library's link to Mango Language, you can create a personal profile to track your progress.

In March 2019, Mango announced a change in instruction delivery by offering a personalized, adaptive language-learning experience that provides the tools and guidance needed to expand language skills.  The change included:

• Real-world conversations that won’t leave you lost in translation
• Voice Comparison for matching your pronunciation with native-speaker audio
• Listening & Reading Activities for reinforcing learned material and building new skills
• Personalized Review System that adapts to your individual learning pathway
• Culture Notes for unique insights into different cultures 
• Mango Movies for learning through engaging, authentic content.

Once you have set-up your profile, download the Mango Languages app from the App Store or Play Store and sign into your profile. You have the power of learning new languages or finding insights about different cultures in your hand!
