2019 Edible Book Festival Press Release

The Kolwyck Library & Information Commons will be hosting its 6th Annual Edible Book Festival on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Come by from 1:00pm-4:00pm to view, vote on, and eat edible creations inspired by books.  Guest Judges for the contest will include Writers@Work authors-in-residence Tom Franklin and Beth Ann Fennelly (The Tilted World). 

Franklin and Fennelly will be two of the guest judges for this event and will decide the Authors Award winner. Other awards are Best Overall, Most Creative, People’s Choice and the Golden Bowl for the best campus department entry.

The Edible Book Festival encourages entrants to create an edible entry inspired by a book. Inspiration could be a chapter, a concept, or even the cover of a book. The schedule for the event is 1:00 to 3:00 entry drop off, 3:00 to 3:30 voting by viewers and judges, and 3:30 to 4:00, announcement of the winners and eating of the entries.
