Special Library Hours in August

The hours for KLIC will change in between the summer and fall semesters!

• No night hours and no weekend hours.
• Open Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

We will be closed Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 for college convocation and for library staff training.

Regular, normal fall semester hours will resume on Monday, August 24.

Have a good break in between semesters!

Special Library Hours for December & January

 It's the end of the fall semester at Chatt State! Today is Thursday, December 11th, which is also our last 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM hours for a few weeks.

Here are the special library hours for December & January.

1. No night hours until the start of the spring semester in January.

2. No weekend hours until after the King Holiday.


3. Intersession hours will be in effect between the fall and spring semesters: intersession hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

4. Tuesday, December 16, the library will open later at 11 AM. Hours on the 16th will be 11 AM to 4:30 PM.

5. The library will be closed from December 20th through January 6th.

Library Hours in August and Library Closed for Convocation on August 18

The end of the summer term is near and that means intersession hours for the Kolwyck Library and Information Commons.  Look for different library hours from August 9 through August 24. The hours are posted on the website.

During intersession, the library will close at 4:30 pm during the weekday, and there will be no weekend hours.

Fall Convocation at Chattanooga State is on Monday, August 18, and the library will be closed all day on August 18 to allow staff to attend convocation and in-service training.

On Wednesday, August 20, the library will delay opening until 11 AM. The hours on August 20th will be 11 AM to 4:30 PM.
