Apply for Student Research Symposium

Do you need a low-stress opportunity to showcase your research for your resume and an opportunity to build your presentation skills? If so, Chattanooga State's Student Research Symposium is an answer!

Applications are due by April 6. The symposium will be on April 27th. Go to the library guide to find out more information, to apply, and to find past examples. Find the guide at: http://library.chattanoogastate.edu/researchsymposium

Here is a description of the student research symposium from Dr. Eric Niemi:
The Student Research Symposium is an interdisciplinary event that showcases students’ research projects.  We encourage all faculty who incorporate research into their classroom to have their students participate in this event.  This semester we are having concurrent sessions for single or group presentations, in addition to the poster presentations. The event is on April 27th, from 1 – 2:30 in OMNI and the Faculty Dining Room, and applications are due by April 6.
Read the guide for more information, contact Dr. Niemi or Cassie Nice if you have questions, and consider applying for the symposium.  Share what you researched to the Chatt State community! Accepted applicants will be notified by April 20th.
