Late Night at the Library, April 7 2026

The library event team had a successful Late night at the Library on April 7! 98 attendees submitted surveys! This was the agenda for a once again successful Late Night!

☕ 5pm: Get your snack bag with raffle ticket and a cup of coffee or tea
📢 Set a goal for the evening on our goal-setting board - when you complete it, our library staff will cheer for you!
🐔 6pm: Dinner time! Grab your Chick-fil-a to keep you fueled for the rest of the evening
🎫 7pm: Raffle winners announced
🎤 8pm: Karaoke break in the library classroom
🏆 Celebrate your achievements all night with a spin on the library prize wheel
🖍 Relax with coloring or a puzzle
🐶 Pet a therapy dog 

The late night activities were described as a super fun vibe complete with prize wheel, food, therapy dogs and more. And a shout out to Professor Tania Henson-Brooks for meeting ECED students during the Late Night activities. We always appreciate faculty attending! 

And thanks to our campus catering for setting up our food table.

The library had a successful Late Night at the Library on November 18th! This was happening during Late Night!

Need some motivation to get you over the semester finish line? The Library is here to support you with Late Night at the Library!

There were 211 attendees with five raffle swag bags given out, 15 students participated in karaoke, and we had four therapy dogs!

LATE NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY 2025

Congratulations on a successful Late Night at the Library 2025!

We had a solid turnout of 158 attendees, our highest number in recent years! Thank you to all of the dedicated Chatt State staff and student workers who stepped up to make this event a success!

As one of the most popular library events of the semester, we upped our game this year with Chik-fil-a, karaoke, board games, and more! The event started at 5 pm and went on until 10 pm, with provided coffee, tea, soda, snack bags, and tons of prizes from our raffle!

Chatt State students are talented, but we were blown away by your singing skills during karaoke hour! You also made your voices heard by filling out our survey. We appreciate your hard work and feedback, and we had a blast cheering you on as you reached your goals!

Thanks to the generous members of Love on a Leash, we had a few adorable, four-legged attendees as well! Thank you to Amelie, Tindy, Maya, Bonnie, and Obi Wan for bringing so much joy to our hard-working students and staff! We look forward to your next visit!
