Currently on display at the Denise Heinly Art Center on the ChattState campus (OMN building) are photographs by Tema Stauffer titled Southern Fiction. From 2018-2021 Tema Stauffer made road trips to Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi to shoot large format photographs of settings associated with many Southern fiction writers such as Flannery O'Connor, Eudora Welty, Richard Wright, and more. The photographs were published in a book, Southern Fiction, and the pictures on display in the DHAC come from the book.
The library had a display of the book titles from the writers explored by Stauffer's photographs.
Richard Wright books surrounded Stauffer's picture of Wright's boyhood home in Natchez, MS.
