Context note: In August 2025, a change was announced for the thematic display area near the entrance of the library. The new display initiative focused on display collaborations and intentional exhibits that highlight the intersection of academic affairs and student life.
In September, the Denise Heinly Art Center celebrated the art of costume design with a selection of hand-made garments from Chattanooga State's theater department. The library had a collaboration display with the Fine Arts Gallery and Theater Department, highlighting the Art Center’s “Dressing the Part: 20 Years of Costume Design at Chattanooga State” exhibit.
