New Library, New Name

At long last, the Library has a tentative date for reopening – Wednesday, October 16th (the day after Fall Break). We are planning to have an opening reception that morning with a ribbon cutting and dedication of our new space. More details to come!

As the ribbon is cut, the library will become "Augusta R. Kolwyck Library and Information Commons" -- to also be known as "KLIC." This new name gives a nod to our past but sets our course for the future by recognizing the changing nature of libraries and the process of research and information gathering.

We know that the library closure at the beginning of the semester has caused some hardships but we thank you for your patience and hope you will be pleased with the new features of your library. We look forward to serving you in our newly renovated space soon!

Thank you again for your support!

Best,

Susan L. Jennings
Dean of Library Services
