National Library Week 2023 - There's More to the Story

National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. National Library Week is April 23 - 29.

The theme for National Library Week 2023, “There's More to the Story,” promotes the idea that libraries are more than places to access books in a variety of formats, but offer so much more. Libraries lend items such as museum passes, instruments, tools and much more. Libraries provide gathering places and community programming. Libraries provide infrastructure to their communities with Internet and technology access. Libraries connect communities to each other.

This year's National Library Week Honorary Chair is Kelly Yang.

The Kolwyck Library is live online at library.chattanoogastate.edu  through chat, email, phone, library instruction, and one-on-one reference help. Connect with the library in person or online! We are here to provide connections to your academic success!

We celebrate our KLIC staff. We celebrate our libraries in this area and their staffs. We celebrate the value of libraries in the global community. Because libraries are always here for you.
