John Stigall Poetry Contest Submissions

Chattanooga State students: submit an original work for the 2016 John Stigall Poetry Contest! There are prizes for the 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners! Deadline to submit is Thursday, February 4th.

First Place: $150
Second Place: $100
Third Place: $75

Submission requirements are listed below in the picture. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, February 4, 2016.  Submissions must be an original piece and should focus on topics and themes that pertain to African American culture. The winners will present their poetry at the Stigall Poetry Reading held in the library on February 9th.
