The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Jay Gatsby is living a lie. He’s a self-made man proclaiming to come from old money and boasting of an Oxford education. In reality, he’s just a poor boy with a little luck trying to impress a girl. Daisy Buchanan was the love of his life, but she couldn’t leave her life on hold forever after Gatsby goes overseas for the war. Instead Daisy decides to marry the attractive, wealthy, and abusive Tom Buchanan and they settle down in Long Island. Meanwhile, Gatsby has made himself wealthy and popular through some shady business deals and buys the house across from the Buchanan's. His lavish parties draw guests from all over New York and eventually he is reunited with his love. But does Daisy love him in the same way he loves her? Or does she love Tom? Affairs are discovered, love is proclaimed, and several people meet their untimely deaths in the inevitable tragic ending.

Find out if Leonardo DiCaprio does Gatsby justice by reading the book!
