Weird Connections Video Series

“The Locust that Watched ‘Star Wars’”
Weird Connections Video Series

Thursdays, usually @ 2:00, in the Library

How does research on locusts watching Star Wars lead to collision warning systems in vehicles?  Find out in the upcoming “Weird Connections” video series in the library.  Take a 25 minute break each Thursday, usually at 2 p.m., September 17th to November 19th, to watch these fast-paced videos from the library’s Discovery Education streaming video database.

According to the producers, “Each episode takes the viewer on an unlikely and unexpected journey, plotting the connections between one amazing experiment and the next and ending with the real scientific advances they have inspired.”
